Dressing up

Here is a simple animal character based on a cartoon way of drawing a hamster.

As you see the pictures show different ways of expressing what the character is feeling or doing.

Boda is a levitating monk and Zimba is a starving field worker.

Facial Lines

Facial lines are crucial to drawing a ...face.

They show where the character is looking and sometimes helps draw wrinkles in old people and giving human like features to animals.!

Here is a good examples.

This drawing will need only the basic pencil and eraser (fine liner optional).

Tools you need to draw.

When you draw always use a well sharpened pencil and NEVER press hard.
Sometimes I will write if you need a marker or something but mostly just have :

Pencil, Eraser (not any strong led marks should be on it), draft or sketch paper and a fine liner.
